TapSnap phototainment takes North America with nearly 50 franchises launched
The TapSnap phototainment franchise went nationwide this June, having launched in nearly 50 regions across North America over the previous three months. From the bright lights of New York City and Chicago to the gala parties of Los Angeles, from the heat of Miami to the oil barons of Houston, TapSnap is revolutionizing phototainment at events across the United States and Canada.
“TapSnap is now offering its unique brand of phototainment to events, parties and weddings in most major metropolitan areas across the U.S.,” says Scott McInnes, the CEO and founder of TapSnap. “Many small companies offer local photo booth services around the country, but none have the reach or sophistication of TapSnap. We offer consistency of service, the backing of a national company, and an open-concept photo booth like you’ve never seen before — with the power to harness social media for an event.”
TapSnap actively encourages guests to create a social media profile for an event, while the event is taking place. Guests take their picture by tapping their finger on the 42-inch touchscreen. Then they can add digital props like funky sunglasses, horns, cowboy hats and more. They can also write personal messages on the screen.
When they’re done, they can share their photo creations instantly on social networks, with the touch of a fingertip.
“TapSnap brings a touch of magic to any event,” says McInnes. “People see the machine and they start to play, relax and loosen up. Soon they’re hamming it up for the camera. It really brings people closer together and helps them connect, which is what TapSnap is all about.”

What they say
“TapSnap was able to drive one of our most important objectives here at Utah Grizzlies hockey and that is to get our brand out into the social networking channels. It allowed everyone that was not at the game to see how much fun and exciting it really is to be here in the arena… The photos were put directly onto our Facebook and Twitter fan page, real-time for everyone to see. Then when the participants tagged themselves on the site it spread exponentially…”
– Jared Youngman, VP of Operations for the Utah Grizzlies Hockey Team
“TapSnap provided great post-marketing opportunities for us through its email capture and built-in social networking features. TapSnap was also a wonderful addition to our event. We set it up at the entrance where TapSnap captured the attendance lines and took great crowd shots. The images came out really clear and crisp. I love the system.”
– Ann White, Exposition Inc, producers of Pennsylvania Bridal Expo
“Gone are the days of the typical boring photo booth with the ugly draped curtain. TapSnap is innovative, creative and technologically advanced. It is also very user friendly and lots of fun to use. Milton and his crew were at my wedding on 06/01/2013 and they did a phenomenal job. Everyone loved the social media feature and the ability to email themselves their pictures. Guests of all ages were having a ball with this kiosk!”
- Noemi Tario Richardson, bride, Brooklyn, NY
“We used TapSnap for our son’s bar mitzvah and it was a huge success! I was blown away by the technology and the quality of the prints. The Facebook interface was a big hit as well…”
– Jackie Kern, New York, NY
“TapSnap is great because it’s the only business I know of where you can get paid to go to events and have a great time.” – Alex Gallner, franchisee, Los Angeles
